Green Book

In 1962, Tony "Tony Lip” (Viggo Mortensen), an Italian-American tough bouncer, is hired to be the driver for the African-American classical pianist Dr. Don Shirley (Mahershala Ali) for a concert tour into the Deep South states. Because of America's racial segregation, Shirley relies on The Negro Motorist Green Book to guide them to small hotels, restaurants and gas stations. As the disparate pair witness and endure America's appalling injustices on the road, they find a newfound respect for each that opens their eyes to the world around them.
