Die Dokumentarreihe beschäftigt sich mit den Theorien der Prä-Astronautik. Dabei wird die Frage gestellt, ob Außerirdische in der Vergangenheit die Erde besucht und dabei Spuren hinterlassen haben.
Die Bibel ist voller Erzählungen über die wundersamen Taten Gottes. Demnach brachte er massive Stadtmauern zum Einsturz und teilte sogar das Meer, um das Volk der Israeliten auf ihrer Wanderung zu schützen. Verfechter der Prä-Astronautik vermuten, dass sich hinter diesen erstaunlichen Überlieferungen und auch hinter Gott selbst etwas anderes verbirgt. Ist die Bibel ein Zeitzeugnis außerirdischen Lebens? Und was hat es mit der mächtigen Bundeslade auf sich?
